G- (Ex-art library with a label on last page; covers are substantially worn and have separated from book; pages are crisp and clean and only slightly aged.). Gray stapled paper wraps, [32 pp.], no illus. Issued in conjunction with an 1891 exhibition. "The present collection includes many works lately exhibited in the annual exhibition of the New York Water Color Society, with the addition of other pictures gathered in New York and other cities." (early page) The exhibition checklist cites 304 pieces by 142 artists. Most noticeable among the names are Childe Hassam and Frederic Remington, and you'll surely recognize more. Sadly, no illustrations appear.
