Oxonii: typographeo Clarendoniano, 1763. 4to, pp. [6], 415, [1]; the first leaf is blank; late 19th-century half brown morocco over brown cloth sides, gilt-paneled spine in 6 compartments, gilt-lettered direct in 2, t.e.g.; first 4 leaves darkened from (?) smoke (?) in top outer corners; the binding lightly rubbed, but generally very good and sound. With an inscription on the recto of the first blank: "Dono dedit McAynscombe / Samuel Peach." Gaskell Add. 1 noting only 500 copies were printed; an octavo edition also appeared in an edition of 2,000. Darlow & Moule 4754: "Printed with the types of the celebrated Birmingham printer John Baskerville, generally reproduces that of Mill (no. 4725)...
