Smith, American Travellers Abroad, C-96." Colman was a Unitarian minister and agricultural writer, born in Boston in 1785, he died in England in 1849. He was well-known for his agricultural surveys of Massachusetts, made in 1837. He had been commissioner of Agriculture for the state of Massachusetts. (Inventory #: 56178)
