Bound into magenta/maroon/peach/gold hand-painted marbled boards that look more "tie-dyed" than marbled; brown leather spines with 5 raised bands and gilt. Stunning marbleized ene papers. Worth the price just to gaze at them. The other half: Original content but original covers not bound in. Marbled paper/boards; brown leather spines, 5 raised bands, gilt lettering; decorative end papers. Entire set: Hundreds of bw illustrations throughout text; TEG; numerous bw engravings, all with tissue guards. Heavy (112 pounds / 51 kilosp) and will require extra shipping.
