They also had a Canadian subsidiary called The Pratt Food Company of Canada, Ltd. The business was well established and operated well into the mid-20th century. The book contained exhaustive information on raising, feeding, breeding for exhibition, and diseases of poultry, as well as detailed descriptions of various breeds.
