London: Laurie & Whittle, 1794. Very Good. Plate mark approximately 25 x 22cm. on a sheet that measures approximately 30 x 25cm. The print is a bit ragged in the surrounding blank margins and has one marginal tear at top that extends slightly into the sky portion of the image. A Jewish couple in this comic print is having to deal with an aggressive bovine. The man, presumably a peddler, appears to be seeking refuge among tall reeds. His case of wares has fallen open and is tumbling toward the ground. The man has no obvious escape route. The woman is on higher ground near a fence; she is looking back and a small caption running along the fence rail has her saying, "Oh Dear, what can the matter be.
