Good plus. An account of a transcontinental trip accomplished with a single horse and buggy. The author set out to prove that he had the "Champion Long Distance Horse of the U.S.A." He soon realized this wish in a dash to escape from California in order to return to his home state of Connecticut. Contains charming photographs of the man and his horse.
