Illustrated in color with 144 full-page miniatures by Leon Carré and 85 ornamental decorations by Racim Mohammed after the original manuscripts in the Persian and Hindu edition.
Beautifully bound by René Kieffer with his small printed sticker in each volume in full dark maroon morocco, elaborately decorated in gilt on covers and spines, decorated endpapers. Original purple wrappers bound in. Minor restoration to a few headcaps, refurbished. A near fine set.
