Revolutionary-era newspaper containing, among other news items, a lengthy account of the Gordon Riots in London, an anti-Catholic riot in early June 1780 led by Lord George Gordon, who marched to Parliament at the head of a crowd of nearly 50,000 people. News of the riot is continued in the Sept. 7th issue. Also, other brief new items from the Revolution, including a list of deserters from the Rhode Island levies. (Inventory #: WRCAM43201)
