[Artifact] Color printed cotton inauguration 'draw-string bag' for Benjamin Harrison

  • 1888 /1889
By Anon. - PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION MEMORABILIA
1888 /1889. Very good; two tiny holes and minor water spot; colors are strong.. Color printed cotton with portraits of Harrison and George Washington below American flags and an eagle. It meas. appx. 23 x 17 inches.

Apparently an inaugural artifact (souvenir?) for Benjamin Harrison. Washington's inaugural was in New York City, a century before Harrison. Hence the pairing of the two on this printed cotton artifact. A handsome piece of election memorabilia. Absent from Threads of History.
