Moderate foxing to margins, slightly affecting image. An important figure in the development of the old master print, Callot executed more than 1,400 etchings chronicling early 17th century life featuring an array of characters including soldiers, clowns, drunkards, Gypsies, and beggars as well as subjects depicting court life.
