by Shepherd, Richard Herne
London: Printed for Subscribers only, 1896. Limited first edition. Hardcover. g- to vg-. 1/35. Quarto. (vii) 88pp. Tan cloth boards with gilt lettering on spine. Edges uncut. This is #27 of a limited number of 35 copies of this large paper edition, printed on special paper. The publication is a beautifully printed comprehensive bibliography of the works of Alfred Lord Tennyson, with each work accompanied by a detailed description. Includes a 24 page sewn binding softcover pamphlet for "A Chronological List of the Works of Alfred Lord Tennyson with some few items of Tennysoniana and a series of portraits of the Poet Laureate" exhibited at the Grolier Club, New York, November 5-20th, 1897.
