REED WHITTEMORE ISSUE OF "VOYAGES"; File of material from the making of the issue

Voyages" a national literary magazine, based in Washington, DC issued its Reed Whittemore in the Spring of 1970. What we are offering is the magazine file for the issue. Included are several letters from Whittemore to editor William Claire (one, signed, but from a dictating machine), another is a short note but including 4 original photos of the author. another is a 2page ALS, about material he wishes to present for the issue, Included are serval typed manuscripts: "Summary of RW's Carnegie Project," "A New Politics for the Liberal" as well as "Listen Christian" by A. C. Purves, who helped edit this issue of the magazine. Also included are newspaper clipping about Mr. Whittemore as well as some carbons and correspondence about the special issue.
