Palestine, T, 1909. Printed form, 5 x 8 inches, plus 1 x 1-inch photograph. Two old vertical folds, left edge tanned, lower right corner chipped. Photograph fine, but somewhat crudely affixed. About very good. A "Wanted" notice from the City Marshal of Palestine, Texas, offering a fifty dollar reward for the capture of C.H. Crowson, who was eventually arrested and convicted for burglary in 1909. The description given says that Crowson "Has dark hair, blue eyes and light complexion. He is fond of music and plays guitar and violin. Works around saw mills and railroad shops." With a small photo of the fugitive attached to the form. (Inventory #: WRCAM52766)
