Hardcover. 910pp. Very thick quarto [29 cm] Green cloth covered boards with a gilt stamped title on the spine, and simple embossed designs on the covers. Good only. The spine and covers are heavily rubbed. The spine ends and edges of the covers are bumped. The cloth at the spine ends is slightly frayed. The underlying boards are peeking through at the corners. There is a small stain on the front board. The front pastedown has a contemporary owner's name, address, and date. The front pastedown has a 6 inch long crack near the hinge. The front free endsheet is almost completely detached. The hinges are weak. The text block is cracked multiple times. The pages are yellowed. Extra shipping charges may be required due to weight. . With the map in the envelope at the rear. Subjects include Triceratops, Nodosauridae, Lithological Character of the Wealden, Sauropoda, and much more.
