Some small tears and glue residue on back. The case is about debt. Sewall's father Major Stephen Sewall was a clerk at the 1692 Witch Trials and his uncle, Judge Samuel Sewall was one the judges at the 1692 Witch Trials.

Three page letter from H.H. Goodman dated Cincinnati Nov. 4, 1833 to Mrs. Mary Batchelder in Saco Maine. He spends ten days in Saratoga Springs and says that water and exercise were beneficial. He mentions Ballston Springs. Nice early letter on the Springs. Tears on folds.

Includes programs, ephemera, snapshots and her writing about the events. She was into music and went to Epworth League events. There is a newspaper article noting that she took first place in Bible reading having read 1,640 chapters in the entire Bible plus.
