It appears Estabrook lived in Fall River at the time of the murders. Pine Street is a three minute walk to the Borden house. Interestingly when Borden was acquitted, she went to the home of Charles Holmes who lived on Pine St. for a reception.

John was the brother of Samuel Colt who invented the famous revolver. John murdered a man and tried to ship the body to New Orleans.
