Not surprisingly, Beecher was strongly opposed to dueling, whichhe felt was sinful, evil, and murder. This pamphlet was sponsored by the Anti-Dueling Association of New York, and calls upon people to make a firm resolution against dueling, and resist those that don't. S&S 16976.
