A collection of essays following the production of the play Inga, which was help in the Theater of The Revolution in 1929. Includes essays are by the playwright (Anatoly Glebov), the director (Max Tereshkovich), and the designer (Alexander Rodchenko). Each contributor uses the play as a point of departure, before pursuing an independent topic. Glebov discusses the new role of women in Socialist society; Rodchenko, furniture and clothin for the new era (the play is largely set in a communal apartment).
