Inscribee Tom Cox wrote of Harrington in the Tucson Weekly after the author's death in 1997, "Alan Harrington was a quirky, quixotic genius of a writer whose works, fiction and non-fiction, were always philosophical. One's view of the world was changed after reading him." (Inventory #: 23212)
