signed first edition Letter
1923 · New York
by John Farrar
New York, 1923. First Edition. Letter. Very good. Farrar writes with apologies to Miss Freeman for answering late. He states 'The lady who I think wrote "The Critical Fable" is Miss Amy Lowell.' He goes on to say that he has no proof of this nor has he ever been able to get a definite statement from her. Freeman was known for innovation in library services, and one was of the most famous and well known librarians of the early 20th century. (Inventory #: 1996)
