Paris: publisher not stated , 1915 ca. Good. 275 x 190 mm oblong. [1] leaf and [54] photogravures printed on card stock showing views of Paris, St. Cloud, Versailles, and Trianons during the years of transition from horse-drawn to motorized vehicles. 1913 was the last year of service for horse-drawn busses in Paris. This volume of photographs reproduced in fine photogravure must date from shortly thereafter. Motorized busses are visible, along with a few motorcars, but the majority of cabs are horse-drawn or, indeed, pulled by men. All the city's great landmarks are represented. (Inventory #: 6136)
