Based on the 1879 play by Henrik Ibsen, about a woman named Nora who leads a fairly peaceful existence with her authoritarian husband Torvald, but is forced to reconsider her marriage when a blackmailer threatens to reveal secrets from her past. Not to be confused with the 1973 film directed by Joseph Losey and starring Jane Fonda.
