Eleven brief and unedited prose passages by Pinget alternating with ten abstract, geometric etchings by Deyrolle, produced in an evolving dialogue carried on by post after an initial meeting between the two artists (as Georges Richar describes, in his brief introduction). Not an illustrated book, but a true collaboration. A beautiful production, issued in the year of Deyrolle's death. 23'' x 15.5''. Portfolio containing ten unbound numbered folios, each with a text and engraving on facing pages. This (truncated) copy no. 25 of 100 numbered copies on vélin de Rives, from an edition of 133.
