This copy with extensive annotations in pencil providing notes & prices realized suggesting the original owner was present for the sale. Not found in OCLC as of 7/7/2022.
Old folds, shallow loss in the upper margin briefly affecting a few letters, moderately foxed, toned, & soiled, couple of nicks at fold intersects, still an attractive example of a fragile broadside.
Producing a significant portion of the armaments used late in the Civil War, the Augusta Arsenal was not surrendered until May 3, 1865. (Inventory #: 1222)
