Based on the 1958 radio drama by Giles Cooper, about a boarding school teacher who begins to suspect his predecessor of having been murdered by the students.

Title page present, dated May, 1970, noted as REVISED, with credits for playwright Giles Cooper and screenwriter Simon Raven. 151 leaves, with last page of text numbered 132. Xerographic duplication, rectos only, with blue revision pages laid in throughout, dated August 7, 1970. Pages Poor, wrapper Poor, with moderate dampstaining affecting the last 60 leaves and rear wrapper, bound with a silver prong.
