These letters from a vast array of commercial entities portrays the reach this establishment had. Advertising in Popular Mechanic, Spatula, and other trade magazines, Miller shows the methods used before TV to reach a broad audience. The Letterheads from these following businesses give an example of what is included here: Green Valley Medicine Co. out of Millerstown, PA was looking for someone to help figure out some formulas left to him when his partner left the firm. A repurposed letter using the back of a Ford Dealer stationary came from Havana, Cuba, marketing a shoe polish formula that would work to seal car tires. Another letter from Sydney, Australia was in need of a formula for glazing pottery. From Charleston, West Virginia we find a former Russian trader looking for help to start a similar business.
