CA, 1941. cards. Peach illustrated Cards. Very good. 25.5 X 17.5 cm. Highlighting the Patriotism felt by the American public, this menu features a promotion for the U.S. Marine Corps on the rear cover: ENLIST TO-DAY*IN THE U.S. MARINE CORPS*ALWAYS ON THE ALERT, ON LAND-SEA- AND AIR. The cover features color illustrated label asking diners to "Try WINE with your dinner tonight - Wine Growers of California. Another added label on the interior of the menu suggests: "Why not try a Dry Martini 25c". Also stapled in are the day's Fish specials. Two small pieces of tape on the interior, otherwise crisp and clean.
