Nixon (Archive of six original storyboards and seven reference photographs from the 1995 film)
- N.p.: N.p., 1995
N.p.: N.p., 1995. Archive of six hand-drawn storyboards from the 1995 film, executed in manuscript ink and watercolor paint by visual effects artist Peter Kuran. Additionally included are seven black-and-white photographs of Nixon used for illustration reference.
Kuran worked as a visual effects artist and supervisor for a number of films throughout the 1980s and 1990s, most notably including "RoboCop" (1987), "Edward Scissorhands" (1990), "Starship Troopers" (1997), and "Men in Black" (1997).
The second of director Oliver Stone's trilogy of films about US presidents, a semi-biographical film chronicling Nixon's impeachment, with flashbacks to his life before the presidency. Stone received some criticism for depicting Nixon (in typical dramatic flair) as an alcoholic and a fallen hero, though the film was well-received. Nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Actor.
Housed in a black three ring binder. Materials varying sizes. Some light creasing to the edges, else Near Fine.
