Inscribed by Georgia-based banker and philanthropist Peabody at Yaddo, an (truncated) artist's community founded by Spencer Trask and his wife, Katrina Trask. Spencer Trask and Peabody were great friends and business partners, and years after Spencer's passing, Peabody married Katrina and the two lived at Yaddo together. Yaddo hosted many artists, including Truman Capote and Sylvia Plath, and became a historical landmark in 2013.
