The short-lived series followed three independent criminologists-George Maharis, Yvette Mimieux, and Ralph Bellamy-who took on especially dangerous, high-profile cases. In this debut episode, the trio attempt to solve a murder of a man found with a hole in his head that did not come from a bullet. The episode originally aired on October 10, 1970, on ABC.

Title page present, dated June 30, 1970, noted as FINAL DRAFT, with credit for screenwriter Burton Wohl. 70 leaves, with last page of text numbered 62.
