Based on South African writer Nadine Gordimer's 1958 novel "A World of Strangers," about a white, liberal Englishman who befriends a Black man after moving to Johannesburg, only to realize that their friendship carries unforeseen consequences for them both.
Shot on location in Johannesburg.
