Paris: Plon et Cie, 1874. Original printed wrappers. Unopened. Only edition of this exegesis on the Apocalypse and what follows. The author, a Catholic priest, uses the Book of Daniel as well as the prophecies of seers and saints to speculate how the end of the world will play out. Almost half the book consists of bibliographical appendices, with transcriptions of relevant texts and oral histories and concordances.
