Founded in 1970, B & L Rootenberg Rare Books has served a large international clientele of collectors as well as private and public institutions in the acquisition of rare books and manuscripts, and in collection development. Terms of Sale

Every effort has been made to describe books accurately and carefully. All are unconditionally guaranteed and may be returned within ten days of receipt. Please notify us in advance if you are making a return.   All items are offered subject to prior sale. Prices set forth are net and subject to change. Postage and insurance charges will be added to all orders. Domestic shipments are usually forwarded by United Parcel, and overseas orders by registered airmail, unless we are instructed otherwise.  Accounts are payable in full within thirty days. Libraries may received deferred billing upon request. Persons ordering for the first time are requested to remit with order, or supply suitable trade references. Goods shall remain the property of the seller until the purchase price has been discharged in full. California residents please add appropriate sales tax. We accept MasterCard, Visa, or American Express.
