A now-faded singer begins to regret her estrangement from her daughters after years of neglect while at the height of her career. Swedish-born actress Zarah Leander's first German film appearance after a seven-year hiatus. Although she declared no political position during World War II, Leander was strongly associated with the Nazi Party due to her contract with UFA (and multiple successful films with that studio) in the late 1930s and early 1940s, and was subsequently restricted from appearing in German films until 1949.
10 x 8 inches. Very Good plus to Near Fine.
