Based on the 1832 play "La Tour de Nesle" by Alexandre Dumas, which was based on the fourteenth century French scandal the "Tour de Nesle affair."
Captain Buridan, king's swordsman and hero of the Flanders campaign, returns to Paris, to find the city in fear of a "vampire/witch" in the Tour de Nesle, luring men to a night of sexual ecstasy, followed by slaughter.
