First edition of this report on a paleontological exploration of regions in Argentina, such as the Valle de Santa María, considered one of the most important archeological research centers in the country. The text is complimented by the plates of photographs of fossils, and is complete with an index and bibliography.
Rovereto (1870-1952), distinguished Italian paleontologist, spent 1910-1913 in Argentina conducting geological explorations. Among his other accomplishments, he co-founded the Giornale dé geologia pratica with Paolo Vinassa de Regny in 1903.
