Contains 49 pleasant lithographic plates of animals, birds, insects, fish, anatomy, and "The Distribution of the Human Races." Octavo. i-viii, 9-192 pp., + 49 ff. plates. Light spotting here and there, and library stamps to endpaper and tissue guard of frontispiece (which is plate 19), otherwise fine in ribbed cloth with gilt-stamped title, with minimal rubbing to corners of binding. A very attractive copy.
