He describes the strategy in stalking bears, panthers, tigers, bison, elephants, deer, ibex, and other animals. The book is dedicated to his son, Annesley, whom he wishes will become proficient in the sport as well. Pollock’s narrative is upbeat and exciting as he manages to capture the thrill of the hunt. He also provides details and helpful information about preparation for camping and travel in the jungle, especially during the monsoon season in India.
