Highlights of the catalog include a first and only Latin edition of the monumental Nuremburg Chronicle published in 1493, an exceptionally rare complete set in English of The Works of Aristotle bound by the Bookbinder to the King, a rare second edition of the first part of Don Quixote in English, a rare first edition of Alexander Hamilton’s Refute Against the Charge of Speculation, a first edition of William Faulkner’s 1929 masterpiece The Sound and the Fury, a first edition of Joseph Campbell’s The Hero with a Thousand Faces inscribed by him to fellow author Richard Adams, a rare La Corona cigar partially smoked by Prime Minister Winston S. Churchill accompanied by a photograph of him smoking that very cigar, and a first edition of Lady and the Tramp signed by Walt Disney.
