A Toast to Carol Sandberg
The ABAA Women's Initiative honored Carol Sandberg at a reception at the recent California Book Fair.
Heather O'Donnell is the founder of Honey & Wax Booksellers. In 2016, she helped found the Women's Initiative of the ABAA (later the Gender Equity Initiative), and in 2017, she and Rebecca Romney established the annual Honey & Wax Book Collecting Prize for young women book collectors. She is featured in The Booksellers, the 2019 documentary on the New York book trade, and served on the ABAA Board of Governors from 2018 to 2022. Heather is a member of the Grolier Club, Philobiblon, and the Caxton Club. She is a graduate of the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar and Rare Book School. She currently serves on the faculty and board of the Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota), the Council of the Bibliographical Society of America (BSA), and the Yale Library Associates Trustees. In 2025, she was elected a member of the American Antiquarian Society.
