The Ides of March
by Thornton Wilder
New York: Harper & Brothers, 1948. First Edition. Cloth, with Quarter Morocco Slipcase and Chemise. Fine/Very Good Plus. This is Wilder's first novel after his string of big hits, and instant classics, on Broadway. [Japonisme] Business Printed Announcement Letter with Japanese Illustrated Decoration and Japanese Stamps
by Wild, Josh
1899. NA. Matting. Very Good. A piece of ephemera whose interest lies not in its content but rather its embrace of Japonisme. It is especially telling that it does so in a communication in which it would seem doing so in all likelihood would be utterly superfluous as well as irrelevant to the message.
