Contest History
With the support and encouragement from Webb Howell, publishers of Fine Books & Collections, the ABAA has reestablished the book collecting contest which Fine Books & Collections conducted for five years and suspended in 2008. The three major sponsors will be the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America (ABAA), the Fellowship of American Bibliophilic Societies (FABS) and the Center for the Book and the Rare Book and Special Collections Division (Library of Congress).
The Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America (ABAA) is pleased to announce that Susan Jaffe Tane will fund the prizes for the National Collegiate Book Collecting Contest. The prize is now known as The Susan Tane Prize for Student Book Collectors.
